The lore of the dress:

I wore this dress on multiple occasions while opening for Jim James in 2019.

Most memorably Stubbs in Austin TX, Belly Up in Aspen CO (before Red Rocks) & unexpectedly New Port Folk Fest in RI since Jim gifted me a backstage pass after I helped him & a designer pull together the rainbow denim jacket that he wore with Kermit the Frog. I decided to wear this to match & there’s the photo of us.

When he & Kermit got offstage Jim introduced me to Lonnie Hollie & Trey Anastasio & as I shook Trey’s hand a random photographer said “hey over here” & we all turned & smiled but kept holding hands then a bright flash went off so somewhere there’s a picture of me shaking Trey Anastasio’s hand & we are both smiling like he’s the President flanked by Jim & Lonnie on either side & it’s very awkwardly formal & therefore hilarious but I’ve never been able to track the photographer down.

If you do I’ll pay you $500.
